Supervision for Small Groups
The BACP states:
"Supervision is essential to how practitioners sustain good practice throughout their working life. Supervision provides practitioners with regular and ongoing opportunities to reflect in depth about all aspects of their practice in order to work as effectively, safely and ethically as possible. Supervision also sustains the personal resourcefulness required to undertake the work."

Contact me and let's see if we are a good fit and then discuss your supervision requirements: fortnightly or monthly for 1 or 2 hours.
As a group we will look together at the cases brought to supervision but if, at any time a child protection and / or safeguarding issue is brought to the group — this will take priority even if this means no further casework can be done that day.
We will work within BACP's framework and guidelines and the rights and responsibilities outlined in more depth on Supervision for Individuals and, in addition, we will maintain the confidentiality of our group and clients and be respectful to the group by preparing for supervision, participating, but not speaking over one another.
Each small group will be able to raise any issues or concerns about the group and suggestions for improvement or to confirm something works well will always be welcome at the end of the session.
Procedural considerations to be aware of — you may be asked to stay behind after group, if convenient, if there have been any issues or concerns, to discuss these briefly. in a one-to-one setting or to check wellbeing.
Finally, talking finances and insurance
- Please note, supervision has to be paid when booked, in advance, to confirm the next supervision.
- Malpractice/ liability insurance will be arranged by supervisee and a copy needs to be provided to the supervisor.
