Complaints

Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

The BACP identifies personal qualities to which all counsellors are strongly encouraged to aspire to; these include empathy, sincerity, integrity, resilience, respect, humility, competence, fairness, wisdom and courage.

The BACP’s Code provides a framework for addressing ethical issues and promoting best practice. This is achieved through a controlling mechanism, more specifically, provision of a complaints procedure. Breaching this code can result in expulsion from the BACP.
